If you cannot access your account
Write to legal@zokuathletics.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". If you cannot write from that address, we will ask you for the minimum details needed to confirm that the account is yours. We will handle the request within one month at the latest.
What happens when you delete it
- Immediately: the account is blocked and your sessions on the website and in the app are closed.
- Subscription: if you have a Pro or Elite plan, it is cancelled at that moment and you will not be charged again. The remainder of the period already paid is not refunded, unless you are within the 14-day withdrawal period set out in the Terms of Use. If you do not want to lose it, cancel the subscription first and delete the account once it ends.
- For 30 days: you can change your mind. If you sign in again within that period, you can reactivate the account and recover your history (the cancelled subscription is not restored).
- After 30 days: the deletion is final and your data is deleted or anonymized as explained below.
What data is deleted
- Your profile: name, username, photo, country and city. Your email is replaced by an identifier unrelated to you and your login (username and password) is removed.
- Your health data: physical profile, biometric measurements, injuries, Vital Flow and menstrual cycle data.
- Your GPS routes and your SOS alerts.
- Your emergency contacts.
- Your integrations and devices: the Spotify connection and the identifiers used to send you notifications.
- The photos, videos and voice notes you posted on the feed or sent by chat.
What is kept and for how long
- Invoices and billing data: 6 years (Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code) and the periods set by tax law; records of the VAT one-stop-shop scheme, 10 years. They are only used to meet those obligations.
- Anonymized data: your sessions, personal records, achievements and contributions to charity campaigns are kept without any data that identifies you, so that rankings and campaign totals remain consistent. The same applies to the text of your posts and of the messages you sent to other people, which are shown without your name.
- Blocked data: if there is a claim, an investigation or a sanction in progress, the necessary data is kept blocked, available only to courts and authorities, until the relevant legal actions expire.
- Backups: your data disappears from them when they are renewed in their ordinary cycle.
- Stripe: keeps the payment data required by its own regulations, as an independent controller and under its privacy notice.
