If you cannot access your account
Write to privacidad@zokuathletics.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". If you cannot write from that address, we will ask you for the minimum details needed to confirm that the account is yours. We will handle the request within one month at the latest.
What happens when you delete it
- Immediately: the account is blocked and your sessions on the website and in the app are closed.
- Subscription: if you have a Pro or Elite plan, it is cancelled at that moment and you will not be charged again. The remainder of the period already paid is not refunded, unless you are within the 14-day withdrawal period set out in the Terms of Use. If you do not want to lose it, cancel the subscription first and delete the account once it ends.
- For 30 days: you can change your mind. If you sign in again within that period, you can reactivate the account and recover your history (the cancelled subscription is not restored).
- After 30 days: the deletion is final and your data is deleted or anonymized as explained below.
What data is deleted
- Your profile: name, username, photo, country and city. Your email is replaced by an identifier unrelated to you and your login (username and password) is removed.
- Your health data: physical profile, biometric measurements, injuries, Vital Flow and menstrual cycle data.
- Your GPS routes and your SOS alerts.
- Your emergency contacts.
- Your integrations and devices: the Spotify connection and the identifiers used to send you notifications.
- The photos, videos and voice notes you posted on the feed or sent by chat, and the videos you uploaded to validate your personal records.
What is kept and for how long
- Invoices and payment data: 6 years from the end of the year of each payment (Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code). For payments from residents of the European Union, the VAT one-stop-shop record is kept for 10 years from the end of the year of the payment: the evidence of where you live (billing country and postal code, country and type of the payment method), the tax applied and the date, amount and invoice details of that transaction. They are only used to meet those obligations and are deleted afterwards.
- Stripe customer identifier and records of your health and AI consents: 6 years from the closure, and then they are deleted. The records hold the date, the text version and the scope, without any health content. Deleting your account does not delete your customer record at Stripe, which processes your payment data as an independent controller.
- Anonymized data: your sessions, personal records, achievements and contributions to charity campaigns are kept without any data that identifies you, so that rankings and campaign totals remain consistent.
- Texts unlinked from your account: the text of your posts and of the messages you sent to other people is kept, so as not to break the conversations of those who received them, but it is shown without your name or photo. It is not anonymous data if the text itself can identify you: if you do not want it kept, delete it before deleting your account or ask us to erase it at privacidad@zokuathletics.com.
- Blocked data: if there is a claim, an investigation or a sanction in progress, the necessary data is kept blocked, available only to courts and authorities, until the relevant legal actions expire.
- Backups: your data disappears from them when they are renewed in their ordinary cycle.
- Stripe: keeps the payment data required by its own regulations, as an independent controller and under its privacy notice.
